Kazakh Language Teacher
Gulnara Boribayeva, Ph.D. in Linguistics, acting Associate Professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. She is currently Visiting Scholar at the Linguistic Department of the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) and an Internship Fellow of “500 Scholar” of the Bolashaq Scholarship. Gulnara has more than nine years of experience in the field of education and science, including teaching at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, editing, translating dictionaries at the National Bureau of Translations, projects for the Foundation of First President, Tomiris film project, and three projects of Ministry of Education and Science, two international projects. She has more than 30 publications on High Impact Journals and Collected Materials of International Conferences, 3 Internship Programs abroad (Utrecht, Netherlands (2011); Washington DC, USA (2015); Granada, Spain (2017). Our volunteer aims to teach Kazakh children in the US to speak and spell the Kazakh Language, including Kazakhstan's traditional and cultural features.
Qazaq Literature Teacher since March 2021
Karlygash Shynybaeva Nurlanovna graduated from the Kazakh National Pedagogical University (KazNPU)
named after Abay. She used to work as an English teacher high school in Kazakhstan.
In the meantime, Karlygash works at the CQC as a volunteer teaching Qazaq Literature for kids. She is a person who has made a significant contribution to the Qazaq Community in Education Department. Also, she participates in CQC events and concerts as an organizer.

Asselya Abildayeva, MCS in Educational leadership, Graduate School of Education, Nazarbayev University. Currently Visiting Scholar in Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, recipient of Bolashaq Scholarship. Asselya has been involved in the education field for more than seven years, including teaching at the school for gifted children Bilim-innovation in Nur- Sultan city (KZ). She is a Bolashak scholarship holder and has also been awarded a state grant for a master's degree at Nazarbayev University. Aselya’s life principle is lifelong learning and contribution to society through volunteering and active social life. Our volunteer aims to an acquaintance of Kazakh children in the US with the history of Kazakhstan, discovering the traditions, roots, and identity of the Kazakh people.
Dombyra Class Teacher
Aigerim Nurzhaubekova Master of Law – Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kaznu). Currently, she is a volunteer at the Kazakh Center in California, a teacher of the dombra circle. Aigerim studied dombra at the school for 11 years. She performed in the school ensemble, participated in regional competitions, festivals, festive concerts, and won prizes. The purpose of the event: to increase the interest of Kazakh children in the National Instrument in the United States, to introduce them to folk songs, memorize the works of Kazakh KUIS, as well as to introduce them to the history of KUIS.
Digital and Social Media Manager. Zhassulan Zhumagali is a well-known voice-over, TV presenter, and blogger in Kazakhstan. He is a professional with ten years of experience in the media. He has worked for popular TV channels like Khabar, Kazakhstan, and 7-Arna. Currently, Zhassulan works for the 31-st TV channel as an announcer.
In addition, he uses his experience in media and contributes to the prosperity of our center. In other words, the volunteer is responsible for promoting our center in the media space.
Dombyra Teacher March 2021 - March 2022
Sayat Yeshmatov has a bachelor's degree Dombyra, master's degree Management. Graduated from The Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory is a high musical institution in Kazakhstan which trains composers, musicologists, conductors of the choir and folk orchestras, pianists, vocalists, art managers, performers on all instruments of the symphony orchestra and folk instruments.
Sayat is a professional Chinese language and Dombyra teacher. He has a laureate of international and republican competitions.
